Documentary film festival
Angeläget’s film festival
Every year Angeläget organizes Sweden’s largest documentary film festival for and by young filmmakers. Our goal is to inspire youth to make documentary films about human rights.

Twelve short films are gathered on a DVD that is distributed each year by the thousands. Schools and community centers, school cinema days and film festivals -- all are interested in showcasing the documentaries. The reason for this impressive demand is that the films truly have a story to tell, since young filmmakers are often very skilled at reflecting their contemporary reality.
Youth in Sweden can also participate by submitting a documentary film to the festival! The submissions deadline is February 28, 2011.
This year Angeläget is rolling out the red carpet at the Bergakungen cinema in Gothenburg on Wednesday May 4, 2011!
